Caktuz organized a mural painting project with the Brooklyn chapter of Center for Community Alternatives (CCA). CCA, a non-profit organization that operates an after school program for youth offenders, drew acclaim for this project from the local TV news and Mayor. Caktuz created the art project as a means to detour at risk youth from prisons. Caktuz also helped in advocating funding and building a multi-media recording studio within the facility.
